“Air hostess training” and “cabin crew training” are essentially the same course — the terms are used interchangeably in India. “Air hostess” traditionally refers to female flight attendants, while “cabin crew” includes both male and female flight attendants. At Neerja, our air hostess training in Kerala and cabin crew training programmes follow the same IATA Classic certified curriculum, open to both male and female students.

Yes. Cabin crew training at Neerja is open to students who have completed their 12th standard from any stream — Science, Commerce, or Arts. No degree is required to apply for the diploma programme.
Female candidates need a minimum height of 157 cm (5 feet 2 inches). Male candidates need a minimum height of 170 cm (5 feet 7 inches). Weight should be proportionate to height within normal BMI range.
